'Before the Storm' (Sterling Innerst, R. 1988) [Бифо зе Сторм], TB – выдающийся сорт из группы высоких бородатых ирисов (Tall Bearded, TB) с почти черными цветами. Зарегистрирован в 1988 году. Оригинатор: Sterling Innerst. Номер сеянца: 2333-10. Год интродукции: 1989. Родители: Superstition X Raven's Roost. Сорт удостоен многих наград – в том числе Мемориальной медали Дайкса – самой высокой награды для ирисов.

Сорт обладает высокими эстетическими качествами. Окраска цветка одноцветная, почти черная (очень тёмно-фиолетовая). Текстура долей околоцветника кожистая. Форма цветка "рубленная", парящая, доли околоцветника часто с крупной волнистостью. Фолы и стандарты черные (тёмно-фиолетовые). Бородки тёмно-фиолетовые. Высота (заявленная при регистрации): 91 см. Средний срок цветения.
Награды: Honorable Mention (1991), Award of Merit (1993), John C. Wister Medal (1995), Dykes Memorial Medal (1996), President's Cup (1995).
